For this Six on Saturday, I thought I would share of my favourite flowers in my garden that I have been enjoying this week. After a rainy weekend and start to the week in Wiltshire, the garden has recovered a little from the drought and many flowers have appeared. Just before the rain, I cut back many plants that had suffered in the heat and covered parts of the garden with my compost. This has really helped and there is some new growth already.
1. Pale and white.
Achillea, Astrantia, Hydrandea, Physostegia virginiana alba.
Salvia, Hibiscus, Rose, Hydrandea.
Hollyhock, Zinnia, Rudbeckia, Dahlia.
Dahlia, wildflower, Fuscia, Cosmos.
Buddleia, Phlox, Sweetpea, Hydrandea.
6. Blue (and lime!)
Nigella, pond forget-me-not, Borage, Hydrandea limelight.
How are you enjoying your garden?
