We have been busy in the garden this February half term meaning I have been quiet on the blog. The weather has been great with a mixture of sunshine and above average temperatures so we have completed many garden jobs.
I love the anticipation of this time of year, don’t you? The garden is just beginning to wake up with signs that Spring is around the corner. The days are getting longer and having a week off work means I have been itching to get outside and do some jobs! There has been lots of growth in the two weeks since my last Six on Saturday post which is exciting to see!
2. Here come the tulips…
3. Photinia (Thanks Jim!)
4. Sorting out the pots!
5. Raspberry canes
6. New Dahlia Tubers
That is my six for this week. I hope you have enjoyed your half term if you have had one! I’m excited to read all your lovely posts.
I am not carrying on with the #MyGloriousGardens linky any more but have decided to try a Twitter and Instagram weekly challenge instead. If you are on Instagram or Twitter and fancy a change, why not post some photos around the word prompt using the #mygloriousgarden hashtag? There are no prizes as it’s just supposed to be a bit of fun! Here are the prompts for this month! If you are on Instagram and I’m not following you, do pop over and say hello! I’ve been on Instagram a bit more recently and there is a lovely community there. I hope the Twitter crew will join in too.
A blog about the renovation of our old house and it’s garden in the English countryside. I also blog about interiors, general gardening tips and visits to glorious gardens.
